..............The Days in Manchester............: Minced Beef.. My Best Investment Yet... Oh yeah Happy Valentines' Day!

Happy Valentines Day everybody.. I know its not much of a celebration to many, but then again.. Manchester is quite boring. So you have to find your own entertainment. Wenqi cooked minced beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeef. It was really good. No, i mean you have no idea how good it tasted. For some funny reason, beef tastes nicer than chicken here in manchester. dont ask why, just thank God for beef. Maybe wenqi is getting better at cooking.. yeah whatever lah, eugene is the beneficiary. Shan't complain. (:

Today is valentine's day. Wenqi and I are kinda poor, so we decided to not go out. We cooked our valentines day dinner. But before that, we had some fun. We tried to make pancakes. okay, shan't bore everyone with words today. The pictures with captions should suffice:

Here we go. Add 400ml of Milk to the Pancake Mix and shake well...

We wanted to try making big pancakes.. SO we tried. This is the first pancake. I think it looks really nice... okay.. maybe not.

This is the second attempt. still no luck.

So eugene decided to move wenqi aside and try it himself.

FINALLY... a decent looking pancake...

Then it became two...

and then 3....

the left plate shows the pancakes that were "spoilt". we called it the junk plate. The right plate is where all the nice ones are put.

Now its time for some fun. Eugene trying to flip pancakes...

Then wenqi wanted to try... it isnt that wenqi is better me, just that im a better photographer than she is, thats why her pancake is so high up there. anyway.. she cheated. shant go into details.. haha

okayyy.. after a while we were getting better at it.

our last and final piece... looks really nice right? wait till you try it.

W.E --> Wenqi and Eugene. Oh yeah, the pancake with W is wenqi's V-day present from eugene. And the E pancake is eugene's V-day present from wenqi.

So after making quite a few pancakes, eugene and wenqi decided to go share some with their friends. Since its V-day, we decided to spread some cheer. The poor girls are so far away from their boyfriends.

DING DONG! SURPRISE!!! WE GOT A V-day PRESENT FOR YOU!

The girls who were still shocked when we said we had a V-day present for them.

Then Prissie-poo took hers. Oh yeah, she was on the phone with her boyf at that time.

Then Raymond's turn. He looks like he is receiving some award.

And so Wenqi and Eugene had so much fun for an afternoon's worth of work. Honestly, the pancakes tasted horrible. hahahahhaha. we threw half of it away... (:

Yesterday's lovely dinner. its minced beef with brocolli.. omelette with bacon, cream of chicken soupppp and golden fries... you have no idea how good minced beef is..

Today's lovely dinner again. Chef of the day: Wenqi. Menu: Minced Beef Spaghetti, Apple and Lettuce salad and cream of mushroom soup! It was so good, we ate all of it. Thats one whole pot!
