Its almost spring...

SPRING IS COMING! but its not exactly good news, if spring weather has been like the last 3 days. It has been raining and raining and raining, and lots and lots of wind. Its those kinds of winds that make you not walk in a straight line, as much as you want to. Just like today, i bought an umbrella sometime back thinking i could use it, and behold, there was rain this morning. So eugene thought, ah hah! now's the time to use it. And then.. the wind blew.. my umbrella flipped over and its spokes came out. haha.. there goes my umbrella. Moral of the story: "when in rome, do as the romans do." The people here don't use umbrellas. they just hood up and walk on. no fuss required.

ANTS! there actually are ants in manchester. For the most part of 7 weeks that i have been here.. i have not seen a single ant. today.. i saw a solitary one. Spring is coming i think.. the ants are coming out...

Okay.. this should suffice for the mid week post, i'll add some random pictures about life here after 7 weeks. Maybe some of us doing the laundry. We are getting use to the currency too. ACtually if you don't convert to SGD, stuff here is actually quite cheap. like 99p, 79p. I mean, how often do you think so hard to spend 99cents in singapore right? Anyway, being thrifty is a virtue. Thank God for wenqi.

Oh yes, covet your prayers while we embark on a wonderful journey into europe that starts on saturday. We'll be back home on the 30th March. I'll bring my comp along, hopefully i get some free internet at some hotel. Will try to post pics along the way if i can. Else you guys just have to wait till i come back.
