I'm BACK! hehe. Europe.... is B-E-A-UTIFUL. Every city i visited is really beautiful, just a different kind of beautiful. Like Amsterdam has lots of canals, Munich is very organized, Innsbruck has the Austrian Alps, and even their tap water tastes like mineral water. Venice gondolas are soooo nice, Rome's colosseum is massive, Pisa's Leaning Tower really leans, and Paris is absolutely beautiful at night from the Effiel Tower. In summary, this trip out has been a real eye opener, seeing a different part of the world and also to see God's handiwork.. simply brilliant!

I'll give a detailed blog on each city visited together with some history. Maybe it will bore some to sleep, but I'll write it anyway, just for memories sake. Here's a short taste of whats to come.

Us and Tower Bridge. Probably most people know it as London Bridge, but London Bridge has been bought by a rich American who has nothing better to do. So London Bridge is now in US of A. So the bridge right behind us is called Tower Bridge.

Amsterdam. A city full of canals and bikes.

St Goar. A small city along the Rhine Valley that is famous for their wine and cuckoo clocks. It has the world's largest free hanging cuckoo clock hanging right outside the hotel we stayed in.

The Glockenspiel. One of the most overrated sights in europe. Its the green thing on the tower. Nothing impressive I have to say. But Munich is really organized in typical German efficiency. they love their beers.

On the main shopping street in Innsbruck, Austria. Background is the beautiful Austrian Alps.

On the Gondola in Venice. It used to be the main mode of transportation in Venice, but now its a tourist attraction more than anything else.

Colosseo. The largest arena in Rome where they use to hold games such as gladiator fights, animal fights etc. Most parts are in ruins, but when you step in, you can feel the atmosphere of having 250,000 people roaring inside the colosseum.

Church in Santa Croce, Florence. Owned by the Vatican, it is also the site where we had a group photo for our tour.

Yup, its the leaning tower of Pisa. Not part of our tour, but wenqi and I decided to venture to Pisa ourselves to find this leaning tower. Thank God we didn't get lost and for a kind Italian couple who helped us along the way.

The picturesque Lucerne (Luzern). Lake Luzern is probably one of the nicest of the 1500 lakes that Switzerland has to offer. With the towering swiss alps in the background. Its a quiet little city where nothing much goes on though. Very safe, very beautiful.

Yep, the Effiel Tower. Paris is really ugly by day i have to say. Everywhere kind of looks the same, but when night falls, its the total opposite. Its really really really beautiful. Known as the city of love or city of lights, Paris is very romantic at night.

This is Vimy Ridge. On the last day back to london, we stopped by Vimy Ridge which is effectively Canadian land on French soil. Its a piece of land given to the Canadians by the French as a way of saying Thank You for their help in World War 1. So one more country I "visited" in my trip to Europe.
