..............The Days in Manchester............: of low flying pigeons and "stereo"

Okay, actually im not due to blog until i come back from liverpool, but since i got some time, i might as well blog. THE most exciting thing that happened today.... IT SNOWWWWEEEDD! Yeah, but it was reallllly cold. like the day started with 3 deg, then went up slightly to 4 deg, then it snowed in the afternoon. it felt like erm.. 0-1 degrees, and its due to have a snow shower soon! (:

Anyway, we cleaned our rooms today, and my room is really clean all thanks to wenqi. Cos she was nagging and nagging and nagging at me to clean this and clean that and clean those and clean these and.. you get the idea. yeah, i'm so proud of myself, i dont even clean my room back home, mummy will be so proud of me. LUNCH today was really good. We had spag with tomato based sauce and some nice soup we bought by mistake at Marks and Spencer. We didnt read the tag properly actually. We thought it was buy 1 get 1 free, but it turned out as buy 1 and get the next one at half price, so we paid like 3 pounds for 2 bottles. thats $9! okay.. so wenqi has been taking really good care of me in terms of food at least. She forced me to eat a whole BIG bowl of salad which contained of lettuce, lettuce and more lettuce. there was tomatos actually, but eugene refuses to eat tomato.

you must be wondering what the title of this post means.. well im gonna explain it. The pigeons here are very interesting creatures. they are really fat and they seem to have a problem with flying, like they cant exactly fly very high or very far. they are everywhere and always pecking the ground. they seem like they are eating but actually theres nothing on the ground! Yesterday, one of these low flying pigeons nearly flew into wenqi, cos she was too tall, or maybe the pigeon was too fat lah.

now to "stereo". I live next to all the hospitals, so every 30 mins, you hear sirens screaming peeeeeeeee poooooooooo peeeeeeeeeeeeee poooooooooooo really loudly. okay the cool part is.. drivers on the roads here actually bother to give way to these ambulances. Its quite amazing. like they would go out of their way to give way. just yesterday, we saw 3 cars swerve out of the way when the ambulance was trying to get past.
